Careful measuring to determine your hat size is essential to guarantee
a good fit. Your correct head size is the measurement of where your
hat will rest on your head. Using a flexible cloth tape measure,
such as those used by seamstresses, measure the exact circumference
of your head, placing the tape measure about a half an inch above
your eyebrows, across the top of your ear, and being certain it
lies midway on your occipital bone, ( that little bump at the back
of your head). Don't pull the tape too tightly or you will
end up with a hat that fits too tight. Remember your hat should
fit snug but also comfortably on your head. If you do not have a
measuring tape available, you can use a piece of string, and then
once you have determined your head size, lay the string on a yard
stick to get the measurement in inches. The average size of most
women's hats is 21 to 23 ½”. Most hats can be
made in sizes ranging from 21 to 24 inches. All of our Soul of the

inside, which allows them to fit a broad range of head sizes. The
adjustable head size ribbon also allows you to wear your hat in
a number of different ways, either straight on your head or angled
to one side.
